Taivanbat Badamdorj (TK)
My core interests are:
- finding problems
- solving them
I am deeply interested in building software and machine learning models that are simple, effective, and beautiful. Check out my blog!
Currently, I’m a Machine Learning Engineer at Electronic Arts (EA), working on applying agentic AI to video game testing.
Previously, I was a Machine Learning Research Engineer at RBC Borealis where I served as tech lead on ATOM - a foundation model for financial services.
I obtained my Master of Science degree in Computer Vision and Machine Learning from the University of Alberta. I have publications at top conferences such as CVPR, ICCV and EMNLP.
Two of the tools that I worked on during my undergrad are being used in a practical setting (Dead Sea Scrolls [1], [2], Wiener Library [1], [2]).
Outside of work I enjoy doing improv comedy, lifting heavy weights, and supporting the Edmonton Oilers.
